This document explains the economic concepts behind the UK Agricultural Market Model (UKAMM).

It includes an in-depth breakdown of how we model economic relationships in the arable crops, livestock, dairy, oilseed processing and sugar sectors.

We use this model alongside other types of analysis to inform our understanding of UK agriculture.
