The review of the ACNRA was carried out between July 2013 and January 2014 as part of Government’s triennial review programme for non-departmental public bodies. It was announced by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice on 17 July 2013 by written ministerial statement.
The report, based on the evidence gathered, concludes the future of the ACNRA and recommends ways in which the Council could improve the way it operates in order to enhance the delivery of its functions.
