Details

This code of practice has been re-launched following the decision by government to close the Independent Living Fund (ILF) on 30 June 2015.

The code’s about the work needed to transfer ILF users to new support arrangements from July 2015, in Wales.

It will be alongside the Welsh Government’s planned consultation on the future of ILF user’s after 2015.

We will look at the code again after the consultation has ended.

This code of practice has been agreed by:

  • ILF
  • the Association of Directors of Social Services Cymru (ADSS Cymru)
  • the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA)
  • the Welsh Government
