1.How many employees of the Wales Office work
A.full-time as trade union representatives in
(i) 2011/12 and
(ii) 2012/13 and
B.part-time as trade union representatives in
(i) 2011/12 and (ii) 2012/13?
We replied:
A.The Wales Office has no full-time or part-time trade union representatives. The Office is not an employer; its staff are employed on loan agreements from the Welsh Government, the Ministry of Justice or other Central Government Departments.
We were asked:
2.What was the total cost of trade union facility time in (a) 2011/12 and (b) 2012/13?
We replied:
A.See answer to 1 above. There has been no cost to the Wales Office of trade union time.
