a errors showing as a result of an issue between DSA and DVLA over issuing the driver qualification card (DQC)

9.1 Response

A report run to reflect DQC triggers sent to DVLA in December showed that out of 14,064 records the DQC trigger status had failed in 632 cases and was unknown in 3,927 cases. Please note that the vast majority of “unknown” cases are resolved the next working day when resubmitted by an automated re-input process.

Our IT supplier manages and fixes any cases where a pending status is recorded. In general, these cases are fixed and the DQC is issued before the driver is aware of an issue. We work with DVLA to resolve or overcome any remaining issues.
