The Department for Education conducted this survey to estimate how many hours, on average, are spent on processes for new EHC plans by the following local authority professionals:

  • educational psychologists
  • principal educational psychologists
  • social workers
  • special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) managers
  • SEND case officers
