In their fifth report the Commissioners provide an update on the progress of the intervention in Thurrock Council to May 2025 and the ongoing priorities to support recovery. The report notes that there has been significant progress, but recovery remains fragile and Commissioners consider the Council is not yet meeting its Best Value Duty.
