The Pensions Act 2014 requires the government to review the State Pension age every 6 years.

Dr Suzy Morrissey has been appointed to prepare an Independent Report making recommendations on a framework to allow the Secretary of State to consider future State Pension age arrangements in the light of the long-term demographic pressures the country faces.

Dr Suzy Morrissey is the Deputy Director of the Pensions Policy Institute and former advisor for the New Zealand Retirement Commission.
