We received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) requesting the following:

‘I am looking for some information on the Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme (SEGS) and the Highly Skilled Migration Programme (HSMP).

1. The number SEGS applications (Leave to Remain - LTR), with a breakdown by approvals, refusals, nationality and by year, from the start of the Scheme to date.

2. The number of approved and refused HSMP applications, with a breakdown by year and nationality, since the start of the Scheme to date.’
