This seminar looked at the opportunities and challenges for school leaders working towards a self-improving school system.

It explored 4 questions:

1. How is the school landscape evolving today, here and abroad?
2. What are the policy issues to consider and what might the system look like in 2014?
3. What are the challenges and issues for leaders and leadership?
4. What are the implications for the National College for Teaching and Leadership and wider system?
