1. Request
I would like to know the top three highest number of times the same person has failed their practical car driving test at the Bolton Test Centre, Greater Manchester. And also the top three highest number of times the same person has failed their practical motorcycle test at the Bolton Test Centre, Greater Manchester. Since records began.
2. Response
The tables below show the candidates who have taken the highest number of attempts to pass their car or motorcycle practical test at the Bolton test centre since 2004:

Please note that some of the attempts may have been taken at other test centres, but the most recent attempt has been taken at Bolton. Since April 2009, motorcycle tests are no longer conducted at Bolton, so the information only covers tests between 2004 and 2009.

Please could I also request the same information for theory tests sat in Bolton for both car driving tests and motorcycle tests? Since records began.
