Details

This study assesses how domestic transport projects, such as new or proposed rail and road schemes, can dynamically change regional interactions with the international economy.

The report provides a conceptual and methodological framework for understanding these interactions. The framework is then applied to the following 2 case study projects:

  • East West Rail
  • the Elizabeth Line

David Warnock-Smith has completed this research on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT).
