The Canal and River Trust has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number NW/069/0009/015, which authorises abstraction of water from Meverill Brook near Combs Reservoir, High Peak, Derbyshire at National Grid References SK 04040 78864 and SK 03475 79659 for the purpose of operations in the course of carrying out functions as a navigation authority.
The variation applied for seeks to amend the dimensions and design of the gravity fed abstraction structure at National Grid Reference SK 04040 78864.
