The fake bomb detection device tested by Tim Sheldon in September 2001 was a device known as the ‘Mole’. A note concerning the test methodology and the results found were produced, a copy of which is at Appendix A. This note was circulated to the same community that received the Blue Book and was included in a subsequent copy of the book.
