Details

The DCSF commissioned the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) to administer Tellus4 and Tellus5 . A number of important changes were introduced to the design and delivery of Tellus4 to increase participation in, and support for, the survey by local authorities, schools and pupils.

The survey was undertaken as a small-scale piece of work, rather than being a large, comprehensive evaluation.
