TD Barclay and Partners NPS/NA/000480: application made to abstract water

TD Barclay and Partners has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Cam and Ely Ouse catchment.
The application is to vary a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- 328 cubic metres an hour
- 2,632 cubic metres a day
- 69,155 cubic metres a year
- between 1 May and 30 September inclusive in each year
- at National Grid References (NGR) TL 75171 66835 and TL 73934 67544
- from abstraction location Chalk aquifer at Higham.
The water will be used for Trickle Irrigation Direct.
