This research study aimed to provide evidence of the effectiveness of the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) 2022 tax credits campaign, which targeted tax credits customers. 

It evaluated awareness of the campaign and comprehension of key messages, to help ensure that advertising is effective, resonates well with the target audience and is as efficient as it can be. 

The research was conducted with 700 tax credits claimants before and 957 tax credits claimants after the campaign.
