Tailored review of the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council

A tailored review to ensure that the Industrial Injuries Advisory Coucil remains fit for purpose, is well governed and properly accountable for what it does.

Tailored reviews are periodic reviews that provide assurance and challenge about the continuing need, efficiency and good governance of public bodies. All tailored reviews are carried out in line with the Cabinet Office Tailored Reviews: Guidance on Reviews of Public Bodies.

As a non-departmental public body, the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) is subject to a tailored review at least once in the lifetime of a Parliament. IIAC was subject to a previous triennial review in 2015. This review will consider the implementation of recommendations made in the previous one.
