This report advises the Department for Transport (DfT) on how best to approach uplifting appraisal values.

It follows revised growth projections from the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) in March 2020.

Mark Freeman and Ben Groom completed all research on behalf of DfT.

TAG provides information on the role of transport modelling and appraisal, and how the transport appraisal process supports the development of investment decisions to support a business case.
