Report on progress made since publication of the appraisal and modelling strategy: route map for updating transport analysis guidance (TAG) in July 2020.

In October 2021, we published a series of reports that link to several of the themes underpinning the appraisal and modelling strategy. These reports action our commitment to expand our understanding and evidence base in a number of areas, particularly pertaining to people and place, and developing and maintaining modelling and appraisal tools to meet user needs.

The series provides a greater understanding of complex areas such as the:

  • travel behaviour of road users
  • public perception of e-scooters and their use
  • urban networks
  • National Transport Model
