Tadeusz Juhre trading as Aqualate Castle Holdings has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Shropshire Middle Severn catchment.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- 44 cubic metres an hour
- 535 cubic metres a day
- 82,519 cubic metres a year
- between 1 February and 31 December inclusive in each year
- between National Grid References (NGRs) SJ 78025 19155 and SJ 78011 19171
- from abstraction location Coley Brook
- the water will be used for direct trickle irrigation.
The proposed abstraction lies within the Shropshire Middle Severn Catchment Abstraction Management Strategy reporting area.
