This self assessment tool is designed to help organisations that use surveillance cameras systems or a video surveillance system (VSS) to identify if they are complying with the 12 principles in the code. It should be completed alongside the surveillance camera code of practice.
This tool can be used to self assess for surveillance camera systems/VSS such as public space CCTV, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), body worn videos (BWV), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV or drones), vehicle-born video systems and use of facial recognition technologies.
