Details of the application
Story Contracting Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract water from Mine Water in Coal Measures at the following National Grid References: NX 97740 18135, NX 97760 18140, NX 97735 18165, NX 97750 18160, NX 97715 18205, NX 97730 18210, NX 97710 18225, NX 97725 18230, NX 97695 18255 and NX 97710 18265 to transfer it to National Grid Reference NX 97590 18531 without intervening use.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

120 cubic metres an hour

1,500 cubic metres a day

547,500 cubic metres a year
-
between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.
