Details
In 2018, the Secretary of State for Education commissioned Ofsted to inspect a selection of independent Steiner schools, usually inspected by the School Inspection Service (SIS), and to increase monitoring of SIS inspections. This was in addition to Ofsted’s routine inspection of Steiner academies.
In this letter, Amanda Spielman sets out Ofsted’s findings and recommendations.
