Statutory Paternity Pay: table of dates for employee entitlement (adoption)

Use these tables to check your employee started with you in time to qualify for paternity pay.

  1. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) pay tables for 2026 have been added.

  2. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2025 to 2026 tax year have been added. Tables for 2023 have been removed.

  3. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2024 to 2025 tax year have been added to the page. Tables for 2020, 2021 and 2022 have been removed.

  4. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2023 to 2024 tax year have been added to the page. Tables for 2019 have been removed.

  5. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2022 to 2023 tax year have been added to the page. Tables for 2018 have been removed.

  6. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2021 to 2022 tax year have been added to the page.

  9. Rates, allowances and duties have been added for the tax year 2018 to 2019.

  10. Rates, allowances and duties have been added for the tax year 2017 to 2018.

  11. Rates, allowances and duties have been updated for the tax year 2016 to 2017.

  12. The 2015 to 2016 Statutory Paternity Pay Table (adoption) for employers to manually check if an employee started with you in time to qualify for paternity pay is now available.
