We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:

  1. Since December 2004, how many Sri Lankan nationals have been removed from the UK?

  2. How long does it take to acquire travel documents for Sri Lankan citizens?

  3. How many Sri Lankan nationals are currently held in Immigration detention awaiting removal due to the fact that they have not been recognised by the UK as refugees and have further had their claim certified under Section 94[3] of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 or have exhausted all appeals rights?
