Details

These rules allow you to temporarily block a watercourse and divert the flow of water.

You must not block a watercourse:

  • for more than 4 weeks
  • that is wider than 8 metres
  • within 8 metres of a flood defence
  • during the fish breeding season for that river
  • that is tidal
