This framework document sets out the broad governance framework within which the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and Sport England operate.
The document sets out Sport England’s core responsibilities and describes the governance and accountability framework that applies between DCMS and Sport England. It also sets out how the day-to-day relationship works in practice, including in relation to governance and financial matters.
This framework document has been agreed between the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Sport England in accordance with the HM Treasury handbook Managing Public Money, and has been approved by HM Treasury.
