Copy of the letter from the Minister of State for Local Government and Homelessness, Alison McGovern MP, in response to the Spelthorne Commissioners’ second report.

The Minister has noted the progress made by the council in strengthening governance, leadership capacity and delivery of its Improvement and Recovery Plan, and has emphasised the importance of maintaining the pace of improvement and ensuring sufficient capacity ahead of the transition to the West Surrey unitary authority.
