March 2019 update
Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls defence scheme now complete
The Environment Agency has now completed construction of the Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls flood defence scheme.
All the routes and car parks affected by the work, including the Riverbank and airport footpaths, have now been reopened, and we have received good feedback on the finished appearance.
We would like to thank the residents of Shoreham for their support, understanding and cooperation during the construction.
The before-and-after photographs below demonstrate what has been achieved.
