Severn Rivers Trust has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract water from the River Frome at National Grid Reference (NGR) SO 81473 04592 to transfer it to a new fish and eel pass and then back to the River Frome at NGR SO 81471 04581 near Ryeford, Gloucestershire without intervening use.
