This booklet (in 2 parts) is an introduction to system safety management concepts, terms and activities. It is intended to allow MOD and contractor personnel to understand quickly how safety issues affect them.

The contents of this booklet are intended for information and is not intended as a contractual document.

The current version of this book is issue 4, published 2018 and updated May 2020.
