First phase report about the Safer Roads Fund, concentrating on the early stages of the fund, explored work regarding the:

  • announcement
  • application stage

The second report will be researched in 2019 and 2020.

The full research goals are to:

  • better understand how the Safer Roads Fund is being administered
  • discover how the Safer Roads Fund is encouraging local authorities to adopt safe systems principles

The research was completed by Kantar Public on behalf of the Department for Transport.
