The Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) gave a ‘green’ rating to the post implementation review for the Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property) (England and Wales) Regulations 2015 from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on 26 March 2026
This means that we considered the post implementation review to be ‘fit for purpose’ based on our scrutiny of the evidence and analysis supporting the review.
The RPC’s opinion refers to the evidence and analysis presented in the review, not the policy itself.
