This section of case histories provides guidance to departments on how to complete the trade and investment (T&I) assessment within impact assessments. This document provides practical guidance with ‘case history’ examples, which we hope will help departments explain whether their proposal can be expected to have T&I impacts and, where appropriate, improve their assessment of such impacts. It should be noted that this document does not add any additional framework requirements or rules for departments. The section includes examples relating to childcare providers, space industry, marine conservation and food calorie labelling.
