Details

The government has announced allocations of a £203 million Rough Sleeping Initiative fund to provide local support for those living on the streets. Councils across England will receive a share of the funding.

The Rough Sleeping Initiative was first announced in March 2018 to make an immediate impact on the rising levels of rough sleeping. This round of funding combines the Rough Sleeping Initiative and Rapid Rehousing Pathway into a single, streamlined funding programme.

The allocations will be used by local authorities, charities and other organisations in around 281 areas.
