Details

Location codes within this Appendix must not be used for consignments using the Goods Vehicle Movement Service. See Appendix 16S for Goods Vehicle Movement Service location codes.

Using the relevant codes from the list, enter the location where the goods are held at the time of making the declaration.

The code for the location to be declared in Data Element (DE) 5/23 is shown in column 2.

Location code ‘GBAUDEUDEUDEU’ should be used where the goods may be moving by either Dover roll on roll off port or Eurotunnel. When the location is known the declaration should be updated to the correct location. If the location code is known, then the correct code should be used instead of ‘GBAUDEUDEUDEU’.

For goods moved via Loch Ryan Port, the location code of ‘GBAUAYRAYRAYR’ should be used until further notice.
