This response covers the fuel pump labelling aspects of the consultation on E10 petrol, consumer protection and fuel pump labelling.

This response sets out how fuel labelling will be implemented both at fuel pumps at filling stations and in new vehicles.

The introduction of fuel labelling is required by the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive.

A second government response, concerning the E10 and consumer protection aspects of the consultation, was released on 4 March 2020.
