The value of travel time (VTT) is one of the key sets of values used in the modelling and appraisal of transport investments. For road freight, they represent the value attached to changes in journey time by businesses that move cargo in the UK.

This is a response to Ian Williams’ review of freight value of time and value of reliability, which evaluates ARUP, AECOM, ITS Leeds and Significance’s understanding and valuing road freight travel time.

Thijs Dekker (ITS Leeds) and Gerard de Jong (Significance) have completed this response on behalf of the Department for Transport.
