As owners and operators of the weirs on the non-tidal River Thames, the Environment Agency is responsible for keeping them in good working order. They regularly carry out engineering surveys to find out what needs repairing or replacing.

The Thames Path across Benson Weir walkway now open. Thank you for your patience while this essential maintenance was carried out.
