Commissioned by the previous government, this Grant Thornton report provides information on:

  • essential definitions such as ‘worker’ and ‘public interest’
  • disclosure routes
  • how organisations respond to concerns raised
  • current protections under the framework
  • redress process
  • awareness and guidance
  • cultural change

In the report, literature review (LR) sources are referenced in footnotes using ‘LR’ and the number of the source, for example ‘LR10’. All sources are listed in full in the bibliography in Appendix B.
