Review of the law, policy and procedure relating to Parole Board decisions

Details

In January 2018, the Secretary of State for Justice announced a review into the law, policy and procedure relating to Parole Board decisions. The Review considered the transparency of Parole Board decision making, whether there should be a mechanism to allow parole decisions to be reconsidered, and both victim involvement in and communications about the parole process.

This document sets out the findings and resulting action from that review.
