Details

The waste and resource management sector has been central to the major progress made in recent years in modernising the UKs approach to waste management, with decreasing use of landfill and more recycling and recovery. This has involved significant investment by waste producers, households and central and local government.

The objective of this deal is to build on this progress and improve further the management of waste as a resource in the economy through an agreed set of commitments.
