Details
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) commissioned independent research agency, Ipsos, to conduct qualitative research with traders and intermediaries. The research has helped HMRC understand their views on the impact of border checks on their operations, as well as on possible strategies to mitigate these impacts.
The research comprised interviews with 20 traders and 15 intermediaries who were based in Great Britain and had encountered border checks in the past 2 years. Fieldwork took place between March and May 2024.
