We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following: 

Number of requests for judicial assistance in restraint and confiscation cases for the years 2000 - 2011.

We released the following information on 21 March 2012.

 

Under the Mutual Legal Assistance framework, the number of overseas requests made for restraint and confiscation by the UK for the period 2000 - 2011 are :

The Home Office published the cross government organised crime strategy titled Local to Global: reducing the risk from organised crime in July 2011 which set out a five year strategy to combat organised crime. You can view a copy of the document at this link;
