This regulatory position statement (RPS) does not change your legal requirement to report information to the Environment Agency on or before 1 October 2023 and 1 April 2024 in accordance with regulations 17(1), 17(2), 17(3)(a) and 20(1) of the Data Regulations.
However, the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with these legal requirements if you meet the requirements in the RPS.
The regulatory position does not apply to any other legal requirements.
