This document sets out the Government’s response to the Committee’s report (HCP 1068-I, session 2005-06; ISBN 0215030060) on the Goverment’s White Paper proposals to reform the UK pensions system (Cm. 6841, ISBN 0101684126). A summary of consultation responses to the White Paper proposals are also available ( Cm. 6960, ISBN 0101696027).

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
