(1) All these removals are “Asylum enforced removals” (where it has been established that a person has breached UK immigration laws and has no valid leave to remain within the United Kingdom). It also includes one removal to Italy in 2013 which was an “Asylum voluntary departure”.
(2) Recorded on the system as having claimed asylum at some point.
(3) Removals are recorded on the system as at the dates on which the data extract was taken.
(4) Dublin II regulation deals with asylum cases only.
(5) Destination as recorded on Case Information Database (CID).
