1. The comptroller has made this direction under s.124A of the Patents Act 1977.
2. The direction comes into force on 14 January 2026.
3. The direction varies all those directions presently in force which refer to the email domain name “patent.gov.uk” or “ukpats.org.uk.”
4. The email domain names “patent.gov.uk” and “ukpats.org.uk” have expired, so all references to email addresses containing them are hereby removed.
