MEMBERS REGISTER OF INTERESTS - 2015

Updated 19 October 2015

Introduction

As the Regulatory Policy Committee is a Non Departmental Public Body, the Chair and Committee members must declare any relevant and material personal or business interests that may conflict with their responsibilities as committee members. In order to ensure that such conflicts are identified at an early stage and that appropriate action can be taken to resolve them. The Register of Interests is maintained by the Regulatory Policy Committee secretariat.

Members with a direct conflict in relation to the particular area affected by a proposal will not be involved in any of the scrutiny stages for that proposal.

This register is available to the public and lists direct and indirect financial interests which members of the public could reasonably think may influence judgement. It also includes non-financial interests of Committee members which relate to Regulatory Policy Committee activities.
